Hello everyone ! This time I want to mention Blackboard.

Blackboard is a virtual learning environment that is greatly beneficial for both students and teachers. It is designed with the aim of allowing integration with the students and teachers. And its function is to put online elements as extra to coursess in an electronic environment except traditionally delivered ones .

Benefits for using Blackboard :

■ Firstly, because there are an mail and live-chat feature which students and teachers can send mail to each other , it enhances student-to-students and faculty-to student communication .

■ Students are exposed to different perspectives , different learning styles because

Powerpoint presentations,articles and videos can be added into Blackboard courses for students to enhance teaching and learning efforts. It also allows teachers to post assignments and they can arrange due dates for these with the calendar function .

■Because it is in electronic environment , students can enable to their instructors easily and more , they also have right to access to course materials in every time they want

■Students performances can be evaluated and they can give feedback from their instructors .

To see the contents of the courses given by their instructors , you are needed to sign a password.

In conclusion , Blackboard is an online teaching system that supports all learning processes in terms of engagement , interaction via technology .
